About Us

In March of 1978, Harris and Marge Mosher founded Lenape Cattle Co., and for well over thirty years, the two built a herd of Fullblood Limousin cattle that are known around the world. After the passing of Mr. Mosher in the fall of 2014, the Moyer family was honored to take over the reins and help maintain the Lenape Cattle Co. legacy.

Ray and Barb Moyer own Holz & Henry Inc., a commercial industrial company, and together they took on the responsibility of running Lenape Cattle Co. as well. With the help of their son, Mason, who came home to help with the ranch, the Moyers are excited about the Fullblood Limousin program they are building.

Ray’s grandfather owned a livestock auction barn, and Barb’s grandparents owned a Hereford ranch in Wyoming, where she spent many summers. The “L” brand in the Lenape Cattle Co. logo is actually the brand from Barb’s grandparent’s ranch. With little industry knowledge, when the two took over Lenape Cattle Co., they knew they had some learning to do. The first project Barb tackled was learning how to AI. Ever since, they have taken on every project head on.

Located in Telford, Pennsylvania, only 30 miles north of Philadelphia, and just south of Allentown, Lenape Cattle Co. is located on a unique piece of property that has been preserved and dedicated for open space and agriculture use.
